TERM 2 DATES
Classes for Term 2 2025 will commence on Tuesday 22nd April, and run through until Saturday 5th July inclusive.
Please note that due to the Public Holiday on Monday 21st April, there will be no KTY classes on this day. Contact us to arrange your student’s make up class today!
Classes will be running as usual on Saturday 26th April.
Dates for all Kids Teens Youth (KTY) dance events are published and updated via our online calendar. Subscribe to our calendar HERE for an easy and convenient way to stay up to date, and never miss a day of dance!
TERM 2 ENROLLMENT
In order to make the enrollment process easier, we have already sent out a continuing enrollment invoice to all parents. If your child wishes to continue with the same dance classes for Term 2 as they did in Term 1, please kindly complete the payment prior to their first class.
If you are new to The Space or want to change your child’s classes for Term 2, please contact us by emailing kty@thespace.com.au, calling 9529 3949 during business hours, or booking directly through the website HERE!
BAND APP
With classes for 2025 now in full swing, we kindly ask you to please download the Band App and join each class that your student is enrolled in (a big thank you to all of those who have already done so!).
The Band App will be our primary platform for sharing important information, materials and updates throughout the year, including videos of routines so the students can practice at home.
Joining is easy- simply ask staff for the appropriate QR code at reception, or send an email through to kty@thespace.com.au and we can share the links with you.
MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT
We’re making headlines with our upcoming production of Disney’s Newsies Junior!
Get ready to seize the day as students learn to tell powerful stories through song, dance and character, guided by our amazing teachers – Deb, Tia, John & Phil.
Inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what is right. Including the classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies Junior is a timeless story full of spirit and heart.
Key Details:
– Trial Class Opportunities: Saturday 26th April
– Auditions: Saturday 3rd May – 10:00am – 12:30 pm (Please note that auditions are not mandatory to join the class or to perform. They’re simply to help us cast the main character roles in Disney’s Newsies Jr.)
– Experience: No experience necessary!
– Classes: Weekly on Saturdays 10:00am – 12:30 pm
– Performance Date: Saturday 15th November (Times TBC)

It’s time to mark those diaries and SAVE THE DATE for our much anticipated KTY Mid Year Showcase!
– Sunday 15th June– Mid Year Show Dress Rehearsal (excluding Kinder and Level 0 classes)
– Saturday 21st June– Lil Groovers Show (Kinder and Level 0 classes), and Junior Shows (Level 1 and 2 classes)
– Sunday 22nd June– Senior Shows (Level 3, 4 and 5 classes)
