Dance In Schools Program

More than just teaching steps, our education program facilitates engaging dance experiences that energise and vitalise participants’ bodies, minds and imaginations.  Inspirational, passionate and professional dance opportunities for young people.  Dance is a powerful means of self-expression and development.

We offer a diverse suite of bespoke dance experiences for school groups, from one-off workshops through to residency programs.  All our workshops are specifically designed to be appropriate for the age, experience and skill level of your group – and can be provided at our studios in Prahran, or at your school.

Types of Experiences

Energetic Experience

Taster Sessions – For Skills Building

One-off workshops or short series’ in a particular dance style, or specific are of dance.
Industry professionals introduce students to new ides, develop their understanding, help them explore and practice with energy and confidence.

Dance Routines – For Performance

Extended workshop series with industry professionals to build dances for presentation.
Weekly sessions over an 8-week term, giving students time to learn and rehearse.

Industry Experience – For Mentorship

One-off masterclasses with industry experts to help students prepare for assessment, or provide an authentic industry experience such as a mock audition.

Creative Culture

Focused on longer, more immersive dance experiences led by industry professionals. Together with you, we design a unique program for your group according to their age, skill level and experience.

Creative Collaborations

Industry Specialists work with your students to develop original dance works for performance. As well as learning professional choreography, students work together on creative tasks – developing their understanding through imagining, experimenting, creating and problem solving.
