Alana Fagan

Alana began her dance training under Karen Stephens at Melbourne Dance Academy, and as her for avidity for Theatre Jazz grew, she progressed to learn from greats at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, leading her to perform on some of Melbourne’s iconic stages such as Her Majesty’s Theatre and Chapel Off Chapel.

Alana went on to study acting a Screen Actors Studios launching her into roles in the likes of “Winchester,” “Yummy Mummies,” “Underbelly,” and more, showcasing both her versatile acting and dance abilities.

Her true passion was discovered in burlesque/sensual theatre jazz. Performing classic tease and mesmerizing fan dance at famous venues and events across Victoria such as Red Bennies, Burlesque Bar, The LuWow, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Ballarat Beat and as head teacher at House of Burlesque (2014-2018) where she nurtured budding talents.

A dream actualized in 2019 when she was accepted as an International Dancer at the Paris Crazy Horse.

Alana lunched her own business Synthwave Jazz in 2022 hosting one on one professional development lessons, and began teaching group classes and workshops at Monash University for The Monash Dance Society in 2024, where she continues to innovate.
