Hello AMAZING DANCE Parents & Caregivers,

Thank goodness Spring has finally sprung and we can enjoy that much needed Vitamin D hit at this time!

We have a few FABULOUS ZOOM OPPORTUNITIES, FREE SESSIONS (for parents too) & SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM DETAILS popping up for your DANCERS over the course of the next week and the weeks ahead!!

EXTRA CLASS OFFER!! THIS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

We had a great turn out this week, so let's do it again!

Stretch Class

Try the Stretch Class & then if you love it, book in for Term 4 - it's a wonderful way to strengthen all styles of dance!!

Any Level 2, 3 or 4 students & parents that are available to attend are invited to come along to STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING with the beautiful Miss Hannah!

*THURSDAY nights at 5:30pm - 6:30pm (only if this doesn't clash with your normal scheduled class).

A reminder...
To keep the excitement, creativity and motivation to continue dancing via Zoom, THIS WEEK IT'S 'DANCE THEME WEEK!'

(Monday 6th - Saturday 11th Sept)

Kinder, Level 0 or Level 1:

Any class that your little DANCER/S take part in during this time, their theme is: DISNEY!

Students come dressed as their favourite DISNEY CHARACTER & be ready to tell the teacher a little about them.

They will be sure to DANCE to DISNEY songs during class!

Level 1-2, Level 2, Level 3 or 4:

If your DANCER/S do Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Breakdance or Musical Theatre

THEIR THEME IS POP STARS!

1. 1. Students can come dressed as their favourite Pop Star or Band Member and BE READY to share a "FUN FACT" about the artist.
   2. They will be sure to DANCE to one of their songs during class!
   3. AND the students will learn a choreography combo of a current Pop Star!!
      

BALLET Level 1-2, Level 2, Level 3 or 4:

• LEVEL 1-2 & Level 2 THEME IS "BILLY ELLIOT"
• LEVEL 3 & 4 THEME IS "CENTRE STAGE"
  
  
  1. Come dressed in your most outrageous, fun ballet outfit and get ready to learn some choreography from the movies!
  2. The students can watch the movie (with parental supervision if needed) or the dance combos from either movie before class to get extra inspiration.

Parents, Level 2, 3, 4 students, Siblings & Teachers this is for you!

* WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - 5:30PM - 6:15PM SCREEN FREE, MINDFULNESS & GENTLE STRETCH SESSION with Leanne.

Zoom can be exhausting and we can all suffer screen fatigue and stress around using this form of communication day in, day out. Let's ALL take some time out for ourselves, log in but keep your screen off & sound muted and just listen.

**You'll need a quite place to lie down on the floor, on a yoga mat or any other comfortable surface where you can still connect to the ground/floor.
