This course is designed for students who believe that they are at a Cert IV or Diploma Level in the chosen course but who have not yet attained a formal qualification.
This online process allows your existing skills obtained through work, education and everyday life experience to be formally recognised and matched to the requirements of a Nationally Recognised Qualification.

How RPL works:
Achieving Recognition of Prior Learning is a process of supplying us with evidence of your prior learning. We will provide you with an RPL kit which will guide you through the process and evidence requirements.
Here are some examples of possible evidence:
- Practical demonstrations – in the studio, on stage or simulated environment via video/DVD, or web tools
- Show reels, videos, photos of work, show programmes, e-portfolios
- CV/resume, job descriptions
- Assessment conversations
- References and support from production companies, choreographers etc...
- Training certificates
- Performance reviews
Price:
- NO application fee
- Course fee: $4350 (single Diploma), Double Diploma: $6080
- Additional "Gap Training" for any units that you feel you cannot achieve via RPL incur an additional fee of between $350 and $600 (plus GST) per unit (depending on the unit)

RPL Overview
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) recognises skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. RPL is measured against the course in which you are enrolled, meaning you may be able to complete your course in a shorter amount of time.
CUA40113 Certificate IV in Dance - Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a wide variety of dance performance contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of dancers working or aspiring to work in professional dance companies. At this level individuals are expected to apply theory and creative skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities. They have autonomy in performing complex technical operations and can be responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the work of others within broad but generally well-defined parameters.
