Hip Hop is an urban street style that developed from the foundations of African dance, jazz and tap dance, with influence from hip hop/rap music. Very grounded and sometimes intricate, Hip Hop prioritizes performance quality, stylistic choices and characterization. Students will learn basic grooves, isolations, and will be encouraged to explore freestyle movement with rhythmic quality.

This is a 2.5 hour program which involves a combination of singing, acting, dancing, and exploration of performance tools.
