TERM 2 DATES
Term 2 classes commenced on Monday 15th April, and will run through to Saturday 29th June.
Please note that due to the Public Holiday on Monday 10th June, there will be NO KTY CLASSES on this day. Contact us now to arrange a make up class for your dancer!
BAND APP
With the Mid Year Show routines for each class now well underway, we kindly ask you to please download the Band App and join each class that your student is enrolled in (a big thank you to all of those who have already done so!).
The Band App will be our primary platform for sharing important information, materials and updates throughout the year, including videos of routines so the students can practice at home.
The invite links for each class have now been emailed out for your convenience. Please let us know if you have any questions about this!
SAVE THE DATE – DRESS REHEARSAL – MID YEAR SHOWCASE
Mark your calendars! Be sure to keep these important dates free as we continue to prepare for our upcoming Mid Year Showcase:
- Junior and Senior Dress Rehearsal (excluding Kinder and Level 0 classes) – Sunday 16th June
SAVE THE DATE – PERFORMANCES – MID YEAR SHOWCASE
- Lil Groovers Show (includes Kilvington students) – Saturday 22nd June 10:00am
- Junior Shows – Saturday 22nd June 12:30pm AND 3:00pm
- Senior Shows (includes King David students) – Sunday 23rd June 12:30pm AND 3:00pm
Please note that your student’s class attendance in the lead up to the show is vital for building confidence and comradery with their fellow dancers. We appreciate you supporting your dancer’s attendance throughout this period, and letting your teacher/s know via the Band App if your dancer is unable to attend a class.
*If your dancer is unable to attend the Mid Year Show, please let your teacher/s know as soon as possible*
VOLUNTEER CALL OUT – MID YEAR SHOWCASE
Are you passionate about supporting your dancer? Have you always wanted to see how the magic happens backstage? Now is your chance!
We are looking for some wonderful volunteers to help out with costume sorting during our upcoming Mid Year Shows.
- Who? All dance parents/guardians are welcome- no experience required!
- What? Helping teachers and other backstage staff to ensure the smooth return of costumes
- When? 3:00pm Junior Showcase on Saturday 22nd June and/or 3:00pm Senior Showcase on Sunday 23rd June
- Where? The Space Dance and Arts Centre, Theatre Room
- Why? We would love to offer you one FREE TICKET to the 12:30pm Junior or Senior Show of your choice as a thank you for helping out!
Your involvement will make a world of difference in making these shows a success! We truly appreciate the support of our vibrant dance community!
