Ellie Nunan

Ellie Nunan is a Sunshine Coast-born graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (QCGU), Bachelor of Musical Theatre. Her musical theatre credits include Swing and principal cover in MARY POPPINS (Michael Cassel/Cameron Mackintosh), Jennyanydots, Swing and U/S Grizabella in CATS (GWB Entertainment/RUG), Lucy Grant in the Australian premiere of BRIGHT STAR (Pursued By Bear), Christine Warner in THE BEAUTIFUL GAME (Manilla Street Productions). Other theatre credits include Beatrice in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (In The Park Productions), Rosaline in LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST (Melbourne Shakespeare Company), and she was a soloist in ON BROADWAY (Flourish Productions) and soloist in Broadway Unplugged in The Gardens (Be You Group). Roles while at QCGU include Maureen in RENT and Duckling in OUR COUNTRY’S GOOD.

Ellie is also the co-creator of the political cabaret ‘Julie & Julia: An Evening with the Great Women of Australian Politics’, in which she plays Julie Bishop. She is currently the assistant director/staging director for the Australian Contemporary Opera Company. As a tutor and movement director/choreographer Ellie has worked for many prestigious studios and training institutions across Melbourne and is currently on the faculty of Showfit and Patrick Studios.
