Deb Cantoni is a Melbourne Dance Legend, renowned for her dedication and innovation in shaping dance communities. As founder of Le Bop – Modern Jive and co-founder of The Space Dance & Arts Centre with Ariel Bud, Deb has left an indelible mark on Australasia’s dance scene. With numerous competition wins in the Australian and International Modern Jive Scene, Deb’s dance experience and expertise extends beyond the stage. Holding a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Diplomas in Vocational Education and Training; and Dance Teaching and Management, she seamlessly blends her passion for dance with education and creativity.
As co-founder of The Space, Ariel has been riding on Deb’s coattails for years! Seriously though, Ariel’s own elite sport background, and passion for the stage and all things performance have helped him become a worthy partner for Deb – as a dancer, teacher and choreographer.
