Robert Sturrock is one of Australia's most renowned dance teachers, specialising in Jazz. When Robert first started teaching at The Space in 2004, he was traveling interstate every week to teach in Queensland as well. Rob has now settled in Melbourne where he teaches 3 popular advanced / professional Jazz classes at The Space each week as well as his full time dance course. Students still fly in from around Australia to attend his classes!

Rob's reputation as such a brilliant dance teacher stems from his attention to detail and focus on technique, which is evident in the outstanding dance shows he produces/directs/choreographs throughout the year. Although not every gig has been so serious; Rob recalls one gig where he was dressed as a potatoe at a Shopping Centre!
