In 2004 Stephen became one of the first members and assistant choreographer for the Melbourne sector of the international Hip Hop Crew Dance2XS. 2005 saw Stephen relocated to LA to dance where he was asked to audition for MOVE: the company one of Canada's edgiest contemporary companies. Stephen was a principal male dancer in the company and in his second year he became Co-Director of the MOVE Dance Project. He also danced and starred in the internationally award winning film "Perceptions”

Since his return to Australia Stephen has become one of Melbourne’s most sought after Lyrical, Jazz & Contemporary teachers with his unique style and feel. Also this year staring in Collaborations the Project “Down The Rabbit Hole” as the Mad Hatter and lead in Industry dance production of “Skin”.In 2009 Stephen created Vertical Shadows, a contemporary jazz company. Giving challenging, paid work to the Australian dance industry. In its first year Vertical Shadows won many awards and put on productions of the highest level.
